Profile: Solventis Ltd. is a distributor of petrochemical solvents. 2-Ethyl acrylate is an acrylate monomer. It is a clear liquid which is not soluble in water, but completely soluble in alcohol & ether. It is easily miscible with other organic solvents, and is readily polymerized with monomer molecules to create polymer chains. 2-Ethyl acrylate reacts with oxidizing agents such as alkali and polymerizes with the application of heat.
