Profile: Union Aromatics is a manufacturer and supplier of paint driers & additives. Our products include octoates of cobalt, manganese, lead, zinc, calcium, iron, copper and zirconium. We also offer anti-settling agents and aluminum stearate. Calcium octoate is an auxiliary drier and is used in combination with zirconium in lead free systems. Calcium prevents haze formation in alkyd resins. Copper octoate is used for fungicidal treatment of textiles. It is used as an antifouling agent in ships.
