Our benzoyl peroxide is a white crystalline powder. Its melting point is between 103-106°C. It is slightly soluble in water & ethanol, and soluble in ether, acetone, chloroform, and benzene. It is mainly used in flour bleaching, grease refinement, and plastic sheet aggregation. It is also used in starting odd plastic monomer, curing of polyester, and epoxy resin. It acts as a catalyst of polyester, epoxy, ion exchange, and acrylic resin. It is also applied as a cross-linking agent.
