Our carboxypeptidase B catalyzes hydrolysis of the basic amino acids lysine, arginine and histidine from the terminal of polypeptides. It is competitively inhibited by arginine and lysine. It is purified by high pressure liquid chromatography. This recombinant carboxypeptidase B eliminates the risk of viruses. Our another product hyaluronidase is extracted from the mammals testicular to hydrolyze hyaluronic acid polysaccharides. Its enzyme activity is not less than 300 units per mg. It has a white to light yellow powder appearance. It is odourless, soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol, acetone or ether.
