Its properties are good chemical stability, resistance to heat, ozone & acid, UV resistant and weather resistance. Its volume resistivity is high and the expansion coefficient is small. Non-dielectric, electric insulation and thermal decomposition residue-free are its other features. It is soluble in gasoline, benzene and other organic solvents. It is insoluble in water, alcohol solvents and has good shear stability. It is suitable for the production of sealants and insulating glass sealant. It is also widely used in high voltage insulation, adhesive tape and rubber sealing strips.
