It can be used to couple inorganic fillers in a variety of halogenated rubber such as neoprene, chlorobutyl, and chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber to produce light-color products to improve various physical & mechanical properties. It is also applied as smell finishing, antistatic and blood coagulant agent. The N-propyltriethoxysilane is a colorless transparent liquid, soluble in a variety of organic solvents. This product can be used as an intermediate to produce many kinds of coupling agents and silicone fluids. In the rubber industry, the strength of polyurethane elastomer can be enhanced by inducing polarized chloropropyl group from this product. Vinyltri(b-methoxy ethoxy)silicane is a straw yellow liquid and it can be dissolved in methanol, ethanol, toluene, xylene & acetone.
