Methyl trimethoxysilane is a crosslinking agent for room temperature cured silicone rubber, a coupling agent for glass fiber & SiO2 and a strengthening treatment agent for plastic-layer pressing material. Tetramethoxylsilane, Si-28 is used as a crosslinking agent in two-part room temperature vulcanizing silicon rubber. It can be used in manufacturing chemical resistant coating & heat resistant coating, fine casting and silicone rubber. It is hydrolyzed to form very fine silicon powder for production of fluorescent powder & increases properties of other resin.
