Profile: General Container Corp. deals with drum recyclers. Our products include polyethylene open head drums, polyethylene closed head drums, fiber drums and fluorescent lamp recycling containers. Our fibre drums are made from fiber with a lacquer-coated steel cover and fiber bottom. The fiber drums are lightweight and durable, with most being UN/DOT approved for hazardous materials. They are available in poly lining for wet materials, and they come with tamper-proof seals. Their capacities range from 6.5 to 72 gallons, with tare weights ranging from 4 to 20 lbs. Our polyethylene closed head drums are lightweight, but rugged drums. These are manufactured from high molecular weight polyethylene.
