Our additives include specialty oxidates, soaps, and esters. Oxidate is a synthetic fatty acid made by oxidizing petroleum waxes and oil. These oxidates are further reacted to give soaps and esters which have specific properties. Calcium and barium soaps are resistant to moisture and acid fumes. Amine and sodium soaps can be used to form emulsions.
