Profile: Equistar Chemicals, LP specializes in the manufacture of ethylene, propylene and polyethylene. We produce polypropylene, oxygenated chemicals, performance polymers and wire & cable resins compounds. Our butadiene is used to manufacture rubber for tires, hoses, gaskets, paints and adhesives. Our Arcosolv® DPM is used to reduce surface tension in cleaning formulations.
