Profile: Borealis provides plastic solutions based on polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). Our phenol is a solid white, crystalline, organic chemical, which is produced in the cumene oxidation process. Our acetone is a colourless liquid chemical developed as a co-product in the manufacture of phenol. It is used as an intermediate in fine chemistry for processing acrylic and polycarbonate polymer.
