Profile: AKPA Organic Peroxides & Initiators specializes in the production and trading of organic peroxides, paint driers and accelerators. Our organic peroxides & initiators include methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, methyl isobutyl ketone peroxide, phthalate free methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, acetyl acetone peroxide, mix peroxide, tert-butyl hydroperoxide, cyclohexanone peroxide, tery-butyl peroxybenzoate and dibenzyl peroxide. Our paint driers include cobalt octoate, zirconium octoate, lead octoate, magnesium octoate, zinc octoate and MIX 2 drier. Our Akperox A1 is a general purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, used for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room temperature. It is generally used together with metal salts. Our akdry co octoate is an auxiliary sicciative that is produced in different cobalt concentration. It is a strong oxidizing catalyst for drying oils and an active surface drier. It is miscible with organic solvents and oils. It is suitable to be used as a drier with oily paints, as an accelerator with polyester resins and as an adhesive with rubber and metals.
